The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has begun a two-day screening of its Presidential hopefuls ahead of its Special National Convention.

Naija News gathered that all the aspirants had undergone a vetting exercise by the party’s legal department and various security agencies.

Recall that the APC had fixed June 6th and 7th as dates for the conduct of its special national convention/presidential primary election.

The ruling party also fixed the screening of presidential hopefuls for Monday, May 30th and Tuesday, May 31st and released the list of Presidential aspirants scheduled for screening.

However, it was learned that the screening exercise is taking place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The former APC National Chairman, John Odigie Oyegun, has been appointed as the Chairman of the seven-man Presidential Screening Committee.
