Former Big Brother Naija Housemate, Pere Egbi has faulted the participation of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, in the 2023 presidential race.
Naija News reports that Atiku had emerged the winner of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential primary election held the last weekend in Abuja.
The Wazirin Adamawa defeated the likes of former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State to clinch the parties ticket.
Tinubu on the other hand will know his fate this weekend at the presidential primaries of the ruling APC to be held in Abuja.
Reacting, however, Pere in a post on social media said the duo shouldn’t have made the list of presidential aspirants for the 2023 race.
Though the reality star did not give his reasons for saying so. Naija News perceived the BBNaija star may have said so considering their previous participations in political offices or he might be referring to their age despite calls for a much younger president.
In a tweet he shared, the reality show star averred that Nigerians can do better than these two politicians.
Pere tweeted: “So many people who shouldn’t be President of Nigeria. Atiku and Tinubu are on that list. We can do better than these two. SMH.”
