Presidential aspirant and Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike on Saturday revealed what he would do if he fails to grab the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party.

The main opposition party is currently holding its presidential primary in the Federal Capital Territory.

According to Wike, he will remain at the party even if he fails to grab the party’s sole ticket.

The Governor of Rivers State is one of the leading presidential aspirants under the PDP and would battle for the ticket of the party with the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar and others.

Wike while addressing delegates declared his love for the main opposition party, adding that he would not leave the party no matter the outcome of the primaries.

The presidential aspirant said, “I want to speak to you on two subjects. One is the party. Let me vow, today, anybody who emerges here, I’ll support the person to the fullest.

“I’ll support the person to the fullest because I’m a committed party person. Because I love this party. Because since 1998 I’ve been at this party. I work for this party. I’m not going anywhere. This is my party.”
