Powerful Individuals Excluded Me From APC Gov Primary – Ambode’s Man Cries Out

Wale Oluwo, an All Progressives Congress, APC governorship aspirant in Lagos State, has said that he was excluded from the primary of the party held on Thursday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, formerly known as Onikan Stadium, in the Lagos Island area of the state.

The aspirant released a statement on Thursday insisting that some powerful Individuals working with the screening committee of the party stopped him from participating in the primary.

Oluwo, a former Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources and an ally of ex-governor Akinwunmi Ambode, however, said “the will of the people will not be subverted”.

“These discomforted powerful individuals have even gone to great lengths to prevent me from participating in the primary election of today by excluding me in a manner similar to the last Edo State episode where a sitting governor was denied participation in the internal democracy process of his party,” he said.

Meanwhile, a female aspirant under the All Progressives Congress in Plateau State, Na’anyil Magdalene Dakogol has been abducted.

Dakogol before her abduction was eyeing the ticket of the APC for the Qur’an Pan South State Constituency of Plateau in the 2023 general elections. Read more
