Nollywood actor and Presidential aspirant, Yul Edochie has tackled President Muhammadu Buhari over his statement on the incessant killings of innocent people in the South-East.

Buhari in a statement on his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday, condemned the wild, barbarous and wanton killings of people in several parts of the country.

The president said the perpetrators of the attack should expect the toughest possible response from the security forces.

The post read: “I strongly condemn the wild, barbarous and wanton killings of innocent people in the South-East, as well as in other parts of Nigeria. The perpetrators of these deeply distressing attacks should expect the toughest possible response from the security forces”

Responding to the post, Yul Edochie opined that it’s not enough to condemn the killing as he questioned the federal government on their next move to curb the killings.

Yul Edochie added that Nigerians are still being kidnapped and killed every day like flies hence urging the federal government to go after the monsters and secure the citizens.

He wrote: “Dear Federal Government, it’s not enough to condemn the killings. After condemning what next? Nigerians are still being kidnapped and killed everyday like flies. Go after these monsters. Secure your citizens”
