Sadiq Abdullahi, the kidnapped son of the convener of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Ango Abdullahi, has won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket for a seat in the National Assembly.

Recall that Sadiq Abdullahi is one of the passengers abducted by bandits during an attack on a Kaduna-bound train on March 28.

Naija News reports that Sadiq, who is still in captivity, won a ticket to represent Sabon Gari Federal Constituency of Kaduna State.

It was learned that Sadiq polled 28 votes from the delegates at the PDP primaries to defeat his closest challenger, Malam Abdulhamid, who scored six votes.
