Bayelsa Queens of Bayelsa state are the champions of the 2021/22 season of the Nigeria women’s football league after defeating Nasarawa Amazons.

Bayelsa Queens came into the final day unbeaten but needed a draw against Nasarawa Amazons to emerge champions.

Bayelse Queens striker, Monday Gift was the star of the match as her two goals secured the title for her side.
She finished the season with 12 goals and was the most valuable player of the season.
