Though the details of the visit were yet to be made public as of press time, it is believed to be a consultative visit as part of efforts by the NNPP to win the 2023 elections in Nigeria.

Recall Galadima during a recent interview said Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is the best candidate to replace President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

He claimed that Kwankwaso, a former Kano State Governor, will run unopposed on the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

The one-time ally of President Muhammadu Buhari said the popularity of the NNPP is making the APC and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) shiver.

He said: “There are only two political parties in Nigeria today: NNPP and the rest. It is the winning party.

“It is 22 years old but reinvented two months ago. We’ve seen [shivers] across the spines of all those that you fear because they know that our candidate will be the next president of Nigeria, God willing.”
