Unknown gunmen on Tuesday killed three brothers of the Chairman of the Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Elder Steve Orogwu.

Naija News learned that the gunmen had invaded Orogwu’s residence in the Ekpaomaka area of the state but could not find him during the attack.

It was learned that the criminals angered by his absence, shot three of his brothers dead with their neighbours whose identities have not been identified.

According to Vanguard, the corpses of the victims had been deposited at a mortuary in Abakaliki since last night.

Meanwhile, the Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government has amended the treasonable felony charges against the leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu.

Naija News reports that the Federal government has removed one charge out of the seven against the pro-Biafra activist.

The latest development was made known to newsmen on Wednesday by Nnamdi Kanu’s Special Counsel, Aloy Ejimakor.

Ejimakor said: “The Federal Government just amended the charges against Nnamdi Kanu now, they removed one, you know it was seven, but they removed one, and now it’s six.

“We are in court waiting for the judge’s arrival, and Kanu himself is yet to arrive.”
