Following the development, Reno Omokri via his Instagram handle questioned the motive behind the senseless attack, linking it to the brutal murder of Deborah Samuel who was killed in Sokoto college.

He wrote; “I Hope Today’s Kano Explosion is NOT Connected To #JusticeForDeborah, Because It Occurred in Sabon Gari, Which Is Dominated By Southern Christians!”

It is understood that this incident is coming days after a Sokoto mob attacked Deborah Samuel, who was lynched by her fellow students of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Wamako.

The mob accused Samuel, a Christian, of denigrating Prophet Muhammad.

Samuel was violently stoned to death and set ablaze, sparking local and international outrage that the government and security agencies are currently grappling with.
