2023: APC Will Embarrass Jonathan During Primaries – Adeyanju

The convener of the Concerned Nigerian movement, Deji Adeyanju has warned former president, Goodluck Jonathan against defecting to the All Progressives Congress to contest for presidency in 2023.

According to Adeyanju, the ruling party has plans to embarrass Jonathan during its national convention in Abuja.

He wondered what the former president who has gotten international attention and respect is looking for again.

The activist stated this while reacting to the claims that the former president had dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for the APC.

Adeyanju in a post on his Twitter account on Thursday wrote, “What is Goodluck Jonathan looking for again? These APC people are extremely dishonest; they might embarrass him at Eagle Square.”

There are indications that the former president might join the ruling party to pursue his presidential ambition in 2023.

Recall that a Northern group on Monday purchased the N100 million nomination and expression of interest forms of the ruling party for Jonathan.

Jonathan, however, distanced himself from the form of the ruling party, stating that it was gotten without his knowledge.

The former president is yet to clearly state his position in the 2023 presidential election.
