Presidential Aspirant and General Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, Lagos, Pastor Tunde Bakare has said that the N100 million he paid for APC presidential nomination forms is an investment.

The clergyman had stated this during an Interview on Channels Television.

He explained that the money is not wasted but an investment in a party that needed resources to be formidable, while also explaining that the form was N30m in 2014/2015 and he was expecting it to be more.

According to him: “It is not money thrown away, it is an investment into a party that needs resources to be a formidable party; yes it is a very high price. The last time in 2014/15, it was N30million and this time around, I was expecting it to be more. This is the time we have to step in and begin to make a difference; we have to comply by paying the price.”

Meanwhile, former Nigerian President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has met with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Naija News reports that the meeting which was held behind closed doors occurred on Monday night.

Recall that a Northern group had purchased the Presidential Nomination and Expression of Interest forms for the former leader under the umbrella of the ruling party.

The development had since sparked curiosity as Nigerians are left in the dark on Jonathan’s untold defection to APC. Read more
