Two pregnant women have been apprehended by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for attempting to export illicit drugs.

Operatives attached to NDLEA had last week Wednesday in the SAHCO export shed of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos seized some cartons of alcoholic drinks suspected to contain illicit drugs.

One Shola Ogunrinde, a freight agent who brought the goods for export to Dubai was detained.

A follow-up investigation led to the arrest of one Seun Babatunde, who is the owner of an alcohol joint in the Pleasure area of Iyana Ipaja.
