Presidential aspirant and presidential hopeful, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has waded into the political conflict between Abdulmunin Jibrin and Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state.

Jibrin, who was Tinubu’s campaign Director-General decided to quit the party on Saturday and announced his intention to join a new political party.

However, an anonymous source has told the Guardian that Tinubu is making moves to resolve the conflict between the duo.

The source said: “Jibrin is coming to see Asiwaju. Asiwaju has stepped in. Jibrin is having local issues with his constituency and Ganduje. Everything will be sorted.”

The source revealed that Jibrin got information that Governor Ganduje was allegedly planning to frustrate him once again.

It was learned that the Kano governor had allegedly endorsed Muhammadu Sanusi Kiru, his commissioner for education, as the consensus candidate for the Kiru/Bebeji federal constituency.

Jibrin’s decision to leave the party is coming less than 48hrs after accepting to return to the National Assembly following the purchase of the APC nomination form to contest in the race.
