BBNaija’s Mercy Eke Speaks On Fighting MC Galaxy Over N1m Gift From Ex-Gov. Akpabio

Winner of the Big Brother Naija Season 4 edition Mercy Eke has reacted to the report of fighting Nigerian singer MC Galaxy over one million Naira cash gift from former Akwa Ibom State Governor Godswill Akpabio.

Over the weekend, there were speculations that Mercy Eke fought dirty with MC Galaxy after Godswill Akpabio failed to compensate her alongside her colleagues who had graced his presidential declaration.

The report alleged that Godswill Akpabio had needed some Nigerian celebrities at the official declaration of his presidential bid and Mercy Eke was invited but MC Galaxy didn’t keep up with the deal earlier made which made Mercy unleash anger at him.

However, in an interview with Punch Newspaper, Mercy Eke debunked the fight with MC Galaxy stating that nothing of such event happened, wondering where the rumours were coming from.

Mercy Eke added that Nigerian gospel singer Timi Dakolo was also present at the event and everyone was happy after the event.

She said: “There was no such event, so I don’t know where the rumour is coming from. That is the only thing I want to say about this. Nothing like that happened between me and anybody”.

Timi Dakolo was aware of what happened, “Timi Dakolo was there and we were all happy. I don’t know who is spreading this false news”.
