Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie has stated that there will be no peace in Nigeria until the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu is released.

Naija News understands that veteran actress who has never hidden her support for the secessionist group, made this known via her Instagram page hours after the UK government labelled IPOB as a terrorist organization.

Speaking about the subjugation of the Igbos in Nigeria, the 54-year-old actress shared a video of the former Aviation minister, Femi Fani Kayode condemning the injustice meted at the South eastern people in the country.

Affirming to his speech,  the actress noted that until the Igbo are settled and IPOB leader, Mazi Kanu is free, there will be no peace in this country.

She added that the rising insecurity across Eastern states are a child’s play compared to what is coming.

She further warned the elite leaders who are after their own pockets of the impending doom awaiting them.

In her own words; “OUR PROBLEM IS THE ELITES AROUND THEM THAT ARE AFTER THEIR POCKETS ARE NOT READY TO LISTEN . BUT THE QUESTION / GOOD THING IS, ARE THEY LIVING IN PEACE ?

WHAT WE ARE FACING TODAY IS JUST A CHILD’S PLAY BECAUSE THE MAIN GAME WILL SHOCK EVERY ONE PARTICULARLY THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE AFTER THEIR POCKETS.”
