20 Years Remembrance: Mide Martins Pens Touching Tribute To Her Mother, Funmi Martins

Nollywood actress Mide Martins has penned a special tribute to her late mother and veteran actress Funmi Martins on her 20th-year remembrance.

Late Fumi Martins is a household name in the Yoruba genre of Nollywood and many people have often credited Mide’s achievement to the effort of her mother in bringing her to the spotlight.

A video shared on her Instagram page captured photo slides of Funmi Martins and a video of how her family marked her 20th-year rememberance.

Mide Martins said the death of her mother still feels like yesterday and prayed that her beautiful soul would continue to rest in peace.

While eulogising her mother, Mide Martins added that her good deed would never be forgotten.

She wrote: “20 YEARS REMEMBRANCE!!! 20 YEARS LIKE YESTERDAY, IN THE LOVING MEMORY OF LATE FUNMI MARTINS. MAY YOUR BEAUTIFUL SOUL CONTINUE TO REST IN PEACE”.
