Man Allegedly Rapes 17-year-old Girl To Death In Nasarawa

A young girl said to be in her 17th birthday year has been s3xually violated and killed in Nasarawa State.

The victim was allegedly raped by one Bako Anjeh, 36, Naija News learnt.

Reports had it that the perpetrator who resides in Nasarawa-Eggon Local Government Area of the state forced his victim to drink gramoxone, a chemical used for killing grasses, before going ahead to have his way with her.

Confirming the incident, the police spokesman in the state, ASP Ramhan Nansel, during an interview on Wednesday with City & Crime, said the personnel of the command tracked down the suspect and arrested him after receiving reports of his deed.

He said, “A complaint was brought before Akwanga Area Command by one Dimka Sarki that his daughter was lured by one Bako Anjeh to his room to have unlawful carnal knowledge of her.

“When she refused, he subjected the victim to drink gramoxone, a chemical used in killing grasses, and after drinking it, the victim eventually became weak and he had carnal knowledge of her.

“Upon receipt of the complaint, police operatives swiftly moved to the scene and got the suspect arrested.”

Naija News understands that the victim was taken to Ola Hospital in Akwanga LGA where her statements was taken before she later passed on.

Her corpse was said to have been deposited for post-mortem while the police dig further into the case.
