Two presidential aspirants under the Peoples Democratic Party on Wednesday protested against their disqualification by the screening committee of the party.

The main opposition party on Wednesday despite the appeal of the former lawmaker, Cosmas Ndukwe and US-based medical doctor, Nwachukwu Anakwenze, upheld their disqualification.

The decision was reached by the appeal committee led by the PDP national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.

Naija News had earlier reported that the screening committee led by David Mark on Friday disqualified the two aspirants.
