2023: Malami Allegely Opens New Hotel Days Ater Declaring Governorship Bid [Photos]

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), has reportedly opened a new hotel in Kebbi State.

According to pictures shared by Sahara Reporters, the hotel named Azbir hotel was launched recently and is located in Birnin-Kekbi, the state capital.

Naija News understood that the opening of the hotel comes days after the minister declared his interest to contest the 2023 governorship election in Kebbi State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Meanwhile, the minister, on Tuesday, also denied reports that he donated 30 exotic vehicles to APC delegates in his home state.

Malami stated that he only donated vehicles to the long term workers at his foundation, Khadimiyya for Justice and Development Initiative, in Kebbi over the weekend.

Speaking through his spokesman, Umar Gwandu, the minister stated none of the beneficiaries of the vehicles was a member of the ruling party in the state.

Malami asserted that the donation and distribution of the vehicles to the workers of the foundation were done by his friends and associates.

He, however, described reports that the vehicles were donated to APC delegates in the state as mischievous and misconstrued.
