Veteran Nollywood actress Ireti Doyle got emotional on her 55th birthday today after a beautiful gift from her children.

A video shared on her Instagram page captured the moment her children surprised her with a sentimental gift.

Ireti Doyle who was eager to see what was in the box was left speechless after she opened it and got emotional.

The veteran actress was also serenaded by a trumpet person singing birthday songs for her.

Ireti Doyle is one of the few women in Nollywood who have defied the odds and are competing actively with their male colleagues.

Since her debut in 1995, Ireti Doyle has featured in many top-cinema movies and television series where she often plays a housewife or mother-in-law.

Some of her colleagues such as Joke Silva, Kune Afolayan, Dakoree and fans stormed her comment section with birthday prayers and wishes.
