The Nigerian athlete ran at the 2022 Tom Jones Memorial Classic and wowed everyone after breaking a National record time of 22.04 seconds held by Blessing Okagbare since 2018 in the 200 metres.

Favour Ofili is already doing great things at just the age of 19 as she ran just within 21.96 seconds to smash Okagbare’s record.

Apart from breaking the National record, she also became the first athlete from college to run 200 metres within 22 seconds.

Not finished yet, she also became the first female athlete from Nigeria to break the 22 seconds barrier in Women’s 200 metres.
