Nigerian Woman Battered By Husband Cries Out

A Calabar-based Nigerian woman named Happy Mark, has taken to social media to cry out for help and prayer after she was battered by her husband.

The lady via her Facebook page on Thursday, April 14, shared photos from an undisclosed hospital bed, wrapped in bandages with one of her left eye was swollen shut.

Happy in her post, revealed her husband inflicted the pain on her, pleading with her friends and well wishers to put her in their prayers.

She also declared positives affirmations on herself whilst cancelling the spirit of death

“I shall not die before my time, instead they will go down before me. May the Almighty hand rest upon me for quick recovery.” she captioned the post.

Earlier, she shared same photos on a Facebook group and wrote: “Fans please I need your prayer. Look at what my husband did to me.”

Meanwhile, another lady identified as Ada Uburu recently cancelled her plan to tie the knot with her lover, David for allegedly beating her and threatening to kill her.

According to Uburu, her lover started beating her shortly after he paid her bride price.

The church and traditional wedding ceremonies were scheduled to hold on Saturday, April 16, 2022, in Amenu Uburu, Ebonyi State.
