Jay Jay Okocha Reacts As Former Super Eagles Star, Emenike Battles Unknown Illness

Former Super Eagles legend, Jay Jay Okocha wished his former colleague,  Emmanuel Emenike a quick recovery, as he is currently battling an unknown illness.

Naija News understands that the 34-year-old forward is currently on a sickbed.

The video was shared on Twitter from an undisclosed hospital that saw the 34-year-old forward hooked on numerous IV fluids.

Emenike in the video, is captured crying out of the pain from the ailment, saying it has become too much for his heart and he can no longer carry it alone.

However, despite this sour outlook, he maintained that God is still good.

“God is good. The pain is too much, my heart can’t carry it anymore” ex-Super Eagles striker Emenike was heard saying in the video

As usual, the video drew comments from his former teammates who wished him a quick recovery.

Amongst them was former Super Eagles legend, Austin ‘Jay-Jay’ Okocha responding to the post with a heart-felt message saying, “Get well soon Nwanne.”

Emenike had a successful career as a professional footballer. He played for some top sides such as MP Black Aces, Cape Town, Karabükspor, Fenerbahçe, Spartak Moscow, Al Ain, West Ham United, Olympiacos, Las Palmas and Westerlo.
