Manchester United Reach Verbal Agreement With Erik Ten Hag To Become Next Club Manager

English Premier League outfit, Manchester United has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Erik ten Hag to become their next permanent manager.

It is understood the Dutchman who currently manages Ajax football club will be taking over from Ralf Rangnick as the permanent boss of Manchester United at the end of the current football season.

It will be recalled that Rangnick was brought in on a temporary basis to manage the team after the sack of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November 2021 following a poor form of results.

Rangnick is expected to move into a two-year consultancy role at the end of the season based on the terms of his contract.

Ten Hag is said to have reached an agreement to take over the Old Trafford job for the next four years.

With the development, he is set to become the Red Devils’ fifth permanent manager in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era, following David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, and Solskjaer who have all occupied the hot seat in previous years.
