Huge Shark Caught In Bayelsa (Pictures)

Raynus Henry Ebiegberi, a wildlife conservationist has shared photos on social media of a shark fish caught in Bayelsa State.

The incident occurred in Akassa community in Brass Local Government Area of the state.

Unfortunately, the shark was dead on arrival.

He wrote: “Dead on arrival. This shark is about 46 inches or 116.84Cm long. Very incredible size. Location: Turtle beach, Akassa clan.” 

This is not the first such exotic specie of fish has been caught in Bayelsa, some months ago,  fishermen caught a huge dolphin in their community in Sangana area of Akassa in Brass Local Government of Bayelsa.

The fish was caught on Monday, February 21.

However, in an act of kindness to preserve the rare species, the fishermen decided to put the fish back into the water.

Unfortunately, the animal died before they could succeed in returning it back to the sea.

Meanwhile, many Nigerians on social media have expressed concerns about a young couple who are set to be married in a few weeks.

The reaction followed after a public invitation was made by the groom on Facebook.

The groom named Nathaniel Caleb shared his pre-wedding photo with his young bride, Blessing Imasue captioning it; “Love is the only genuine principle from which a marriage with a difference can spring- And the heart of love is love from the heart.
