Manchester United player, Cristiano Ronaldo displayed anger yesterday after his club’s match against Everton.
Naija News reports that Man United were beaten 1-0 in their English Premier League clash on Saturday at the Goodison Park.
United has now dropped to 7th on the league table and the development did not settle well with Ronaldo just like others.
As Ronaldo made his way down the tunnel at Goodison Park yesterday, he angrily smashed the phone of an Everton fan who was filming him.
A video released on the internet showed how Ronaldo knocked down the phone out of the hand of the fan.
The boy’s mother has since taken to Facebook to react to the player’s action.
She shared a photo of her 14-year-old son, Jake Harden’s broken screen and his hand, bruised from the knock Ronaldo gave him.
She called out Ronaldo in her Facebook post and also told Echo that her son is autistic and has dyspraxia, and the incident left him in complete shock.

Following Jake Harden’s mom’s reaction to Ronaldo’s action, the player has also taken to Instagram to apologize for his angry display.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner wrote: “It’s never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments such as the one we are facing. Nevertheless, we always have to be respectful, and patient and set an example for all the youngsters who love the beautiful game.
“I would like to apologize for my outburst and, if possible, I would like to invite this supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford as a sign of fair play and sportsmanship.”
