Shehu Sani Joins Kaduna Governorship Race, Picks Form [Photos]

Former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has declared his interest to contest the Kaduna State Governorship seat in the coming election.

Naija News reports that the politician made this known in a post on his Twitter account on Wednesday.

Sani who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th National Assembly took to social media to share photos of himself being presented with the Governorship interest form.

The politician boasts that he paid and obtained the form by himself.

Sani seized the moment to make a mockery of other political office aspirants who had claimed in different publications that their interest forms were purchased for them by some groups.

Sani wrote: “I picked my Governorship form…no be any group buy am for me..I no go lie lie.”

Meanwhile, Rivers State indigene, Ibinabo Joy Dokubo has declared her interest to join the 2023 presidential race under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Naija News understands that Dokubo will be the first female presidential aspirant in the ruling party.

Speaking at her declaration ceremony on Wednesday in Abuja, Dokubo said the ruling party has performed well since it took over the government from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, but that the issues of insecurity have made Nigerians not to see its efforts.

She further boasted that her administration if elected, would build on the legacy of President Muhammadu Buhari.
