Super Eagles Goal Keeper Cries Out On Life After World Cup qualifier Woes

Francis Uzoho, Super Eagles goalkeeper, has taken to social media to cry out about his life since  the failure of the Nigerian team to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Uzoho who noted that his failure to save a Thomas Partey long range shot, which prevented the Eagles from securing a spot in the World Cup finals has been the worst of his life.

The game ended 1-1, giving the Ghanaians an away goal advantage.

He has now joined Williams Troost-Ekong and Leon Balogun in apologizing for the outcome of the match.

The 23-year-old took to Instagram to express how he has been feeling since the game.

“This past couple of days have been the worst in my lifetime,” Uzoho wrote.

“I wanted to take my nation to Qatar but rather did the opposite. I know what football means to you all and to myself, I can’t promise not to make mistakes again, but I can promise not to give up until I bring back that smile on your faces. Thank you for the support and God bless.
