The daughter-in-law of Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, Halima Nwakaego, has taken to her social media handle to sternly warn people who tell her that she didn’t give birth on her own just because she had a C-section.

Naija News understands that Nwakaego and her husband, Bashir El-Rufai, welcomed a set of twin boys two months ago.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, the new mother noted that it was stupid and wrong for people to say things like “Baki Haidu Da Kanki” (meaning she didn’t give birth on her own).

“No, someone else gave birth with me. Very stupid,” she said.

“Let one more person tell me ‘ai baki San wahalan haihuwa” because I got a c-section.” she added.

Cesarean delivery (C-section) is a surgical procedure used to deliver a baby through incisions in the abdomen and uterus.

A C-section might be planned ahead of time if you develop pregnancy complications or you’ve had a previous C-section and aren’t considering a vaginal birth after a cesarean.
