Two communities in Kaduna State on Thursday night suffered restlessness after bandit terrorists stormed their abode shooting sporadically.

The assailants according to reports, killed a retired police officer’s son, Lewis Elkanah and two others during the Thursday night attacks.

Naija News had reported earlier that bandits on Thursday night attacked Ungwar Bulus in the Sabo area of the state shooting aimlessly at residents.

A resident who shared a glimpse of the attack on social media confirmed that the gun-wielding men attacked their homes at about 10:30 pm.

The terrorist who went about carrying out their operations also attacked residents of Ungwar Gwari in the Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Daily Post received from a source on Friday morning, that the bandits also kidnapped the deceased’s father, retired police officer, Elkanah, alongside 20 other people in Ungwar Bulus.

A resident who identified himself simply as Mr Benjamin Yunanah Maigari told journalists that the bandits had a field day terrorising the residents of the area.

He called on the security agents to urgently beam their searchlight, to rescue the kidnapped victims.

However, the Kaduna Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige could not pick up his calls, even as he did not respond to the text message sent to him by reporters.

Meanwhile, unknown gunmen have reportedly kidnapped a renowned philanthropist in Lokoja, Kogi State capital.

The victim who is said to be the President and Founder of Enemona Josh Humanitarian Foundation, Ambassador David Onoja was reportedly whisked away on Thursday morning at about 10.30 am.

The assailants according to reports, stormed Onoja’s residential home this morning fully dressed in police uniforms and heavily armed with AK-47s and bulletproof vests.

A family source who spoke with reportedly spoke with Dailytrust said Onoja was picked up from his house by six gunmen.

He explained that the gunmen invaded Onoja’s house along Wada road in a sienna bus painted in maroon colour and manhandled him before they whisk him away to an unknown destination.
