Shehu Sani Reacts As Tinubu Meets UAE Leadership Over Visa Ban, Others

Former Kaduna Central lawmaker, Shehu Sani on Thursday raised a fresh alarm about bandit terrorists taking over the Abuja-Kaduna highway.

According to the politician and human rights activist, the information was given to him by someone who made a distress call to him after running into them.

He said due to the blockage caused by the bandits, many travellers are turning back speedily to avoid falling victim of the criminal elements.

Taking to his Twitter page, Shehu Sani in a series of tweets wrote: “Just got a distress call that Bandits in large numbers have again blocked the Kaduna-Abuja road this afternoon. Travellers are speedily turning backward.”

He identified the major bandits operating in the north as Bello Turji, Dogo Gide, Manjagara, and Balleri, wondering why they still roam freely, grant interviews on radio and the security agencies have not arrested them.

He accused the security agencies and agents of only carrying out ‘eye-service.’

“Bello Turji, Dogo Gide, Manjagara, and Balleri are the topmost northern terror leaders who have been granting Radio and papers interviews in Our Hausa language but remain elusive for authorities to arrest. I just don’t get it.”

It’s now that security agents are “uncovering Bandits camps” and “Bombing Bandits targets”.And it’s called “eye service,” he added.

His lamentation comes a few days after bandit terrorists on Monday night bombed a Kaduna-bound train travelling from Abuja.

Many were killed, several injured and others kidnapped by the terrorists during the operation.

Meanwhile, Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo has reacted to the attack by gunmen on a local government secretariat in the state on Thursday.

As earlier reported by Naija News, unknown gunmen in the early hours of Thursday burnt the Secretariat of Nnewi South Local Government Area in Ukpor Anambra State.

The invading gunmen also killed one person said to be one of the security guards on duty at the secretariat during the attack.

Soludo who visited the scene of the incident with his entourage, condemned the attack and stated that the state won’t make visible progress if such a thing becomes a norm, Naija News reports.

The state leader lamented bitterly on the attacks on businesses and government facilities, vowing that Anambra won’t bow to criminals under his watch.
