The performance of the Super Eagles in Cameroon was not impressive and so many questions were raised by fans due to some players’ absence.

The notable one was the Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen who had a facial injury in December.

The attack had new faces like Sadiq Umar, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Peter Olayinka. Between these three strikers, only 2 goals were scored in 4 matches. A big hole at AFCON.

Fast forward to March, the team is looking like a new team with the return of the old players plus the introduction of new faces.
