2023 Presidency: Ikpeazu Hosts PDP Governors In Abia

Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday met behind closed doors in Abia State.

Naija News reports that the governors were hosted by their colleague, Okezie Ikpeazu at his country home of Umuobiakwa, Obingwa local government area country home of the state.

It was gathered that the issue of zoning and the 2023 presidency will top the agenda the governors will consider.

Present at the meeting were Nyesom Wike (Rivers); Seyi Makinde (Oyo); Samuel Ortom (Benue) and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu).

According to party officials, the above governors were said to have arrived yesterday.

Those who arrived this morning were Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta); Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom); Godwin Obaseki (Edo); Duoye Diri (Bayelsa); Bala Mohammed (Bauchi) and the chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto).

As of the time of filing this report, Adamawa Governor Umaru Fintiri was absent at the meeting while Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State was represented by his deputy, Haruna Manu.
