EPL: Bukayo Saka To Join Arsenal's Highest-Paid Players With New Deal

English professional footballer, Bukayo Saka is about to become one of Arsenal‘s highest-paid players with a new offer.

The 20-year-old lad currently earns £30,000-a-week wages with the Gunners, falling in line as one of the lowest earners in Mikel Arteta’s squad.

However, amid transfer rumours, Arsenal has expressed readiness to offer Saka a mouthwatering salary to get him to stay long in the club.

Saka has a long-term contract with the Gunners which expires in 2024.

A new deal will, however, reflect his role in Arteta’s squad as one of the most important players for Arsenal right now.

The UK Sun reports that Arsenal is in talks to quadruple Saka’s salary in order to tie down his future. Saka had only signed a new deal in 2020, but Arsenal wants to offer him fresh terms and have already opened informal talks with his representatives.

Naija News understands that Saka will now be receiving £125,000-a-week if the new deal is confirmed.

The development will catapult the young lad into the club’s upper bracket of highest earners and reflect his status within the squad.

Saka has netted nine goals and laid on five assists in 28 Premier League appearances this season.

Last weekend, he netted the winner as Mikel Arteta’s men beat Aston Villa 1-0, to open a three-point gap in fourth place.

Meanwhile, Chelsea defender, Antonio Rudiger has refused to renew his contract with the Blues.

Naija News learnt that the German professional footballer has agreed to join Serie A side, Juventus on a four-year deal.

Rudiger’s contract with Chelsea will expire at the end of the current campaign and Thomas Tuchel’s side wouldn’t offer him an extension because of the UK government’s sanctions placed on the West London club owner, Roman Abramovich.

Before the sanction, Rudiger has reportedly been offered a mouthwatering £400,000-a-week deal to leave Chelsea.

The likes of Juventus, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are all hunting for the 28-year-old, Naija News understands.
