Umeh Speaks On Emergence Of Senate Principal Officers

A former Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Umeh has narrated the circumstances that led to Bianca Ojukwu slapping Ebelechukwu, wife of Willie Obiano, ex-Anambra State governor on Thursday.

Umeh said Bianca is very correct about her narration of what happened and caused a scuffle with the former Anambra First Lady during the inauguration ceremony of Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo as the new Anambra State Governor.

Naija News recalls Bianca and Mrs. Obiano had a fight publicly during the inauguration ceremony but Umeh who was present at the event said Mrs. Obiano should be blamed for what happened.

In his narration of events, Chief Umeh said Bianca was peacefully seated when Mrs. Obiano walked into the venue, approached her, and started abusing her verbally.

He added that when the exchange of blows started, he and some others at the venue had to approach the women and separate them.

Umeh told Arise TV: “From Ambassador Bianca’s narrative, she was correct in her narration of what actually happened because we were all seated in good time for the event.

“The video footage has shown everything to everybody that she left where she was sitting and walked straight to where Ambassador Bianca was sitting calmly and started verbal attacks on her. I was seated away but within a very clear view.

“When the exchange of blows, as I would call it started, I had to rush to that place to restrain them and separate them to ensure that no harm was inflicted on Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu who was seated very calmly for that ceremony.”
