Obiano’s Wife, Bianca Ojukwu Should Be Arrested - Deji Adeyanju

Human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju has called for the arrest of former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain, Bianca Ojukwu and the former First Lady of Anambra State, Ebelechukwu Obiano.

The convener of the Concerned Nigerians Group said the two women should be quizzed by the police for breach of public peace.

Naija News had reported that the wife of the former Governor of Anambra State Willie Obiano, Ebelechukwu on Thursday clashed with Bianca Ojukwu.

The clash happened at the swearing-in ceremony of Charles Chukwuma Soludo as the new governor of Anambra State.

It was gathered that Obiano’s wife confronted Bianca, accusing her of not wanting the husband to be the governor while allegedly hurling insults at her.

In retaliation, Mrs Ojukwu stood up and slapped her leading to a fight.

The action drew the attention of security agents and some personalities who tried separating the two women as security operatives shouted for media men to stop recording the incident.

In a chat with The Punch on Thursday, Adeyanju claimed the widow of the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu and the wife of the former Anambra governor acted as thugs at the event.

He added that both women have set a bad precedent for young ladies present at the event, expressing sadness that the loss of values by the women was so obvious.

He said, “The police should arrest and charge the two women for disturbance of public peace. They are thugs. What has happened is a bad precedent for young women. It is unfortunate that these are the people we have up there. The loss of values is so obvious. It is sad.”
