Reactions As Sanwo-Olu Appoints MC Oluomo As Chairman Of Lagos Motor Parks

The Lagos State government has denied appointing Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, as the Managing Director of Lagos State Transportation Parks and Garages Management Committee.

This is coming after one of the sons of the former Lagos NURTW council chairman, identified on Instagram as King-westt, took to the platform to congratulate his father on his new appointment.

He wrote; “Congratulations boss, Alh. King Musillu Akinsanya Ayinde The GM/MD Lagos state Transportation, Parks and Garages Management Committee.. Oye Amori OOOO”

When Naija News contacted the Chief Press Secretary to the Lagos State governor, Gboyega Akosile, he said the news is false and should be discarded.

He added that MC Oluomo’s son do not work for the government, so he can’t speak for the government.

Akosile said; “MC Oluomo’s son doesn’t work for the government and so can’t be quoted as speaking for us on the matter. There’s no such thing as that”

Naija News earlier reported that National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) suspended MC Oluomo, following weeks of protracted conflict and leadership tussle.

The letter dated March 9, 2022, directed MC Oluomo to hand over all union properties in his care to the state secretary and hand over the leadership to his deputy.
