Nigerian Army Begins Fresh Recruitment (Apply Here)

The Nigerian Army has commenced a fresh recruitment exercise for qualified and interested Nigerians to join the force.

A statement on Tuesday by the Army says the general public should be informed that online application for 83 Regular Recruits Intake for Non-Tradesmen & women has commenced.

Naija News reports the statement added that the application is free and runs between March 7 through May 13, 2022.

The following are some of the requirements that must be satisfied to join the Nigeria Army.

1. Be of Nigerian origin by birth and possess a national identity card.

2. Five O-level credits, including in English Language in not more than two sittings in WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB.

3. Male applicants must be at least 1.68 meters for males or 1.62 meters for females.

4. Interested applicants must be between the age of 18 and 26 years.

Meanwhile, no fewer than seventeen Boko Haram/Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists have been neutralized in a fresh gun battle with troops of the Nigerian Army.

Reports obtained by Naija News on Monday have it that the terrorists yesterday, stormed the Forward Operational Base at Damasak and met a fierce repellent from the troops of the Nigerian Army.

The troops are said to have received support from the air component of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) which mounted a hot pursuit and closed up with the terrorists.

Having overpowered the terrorists, the army recovered motorcycles and weapons from the terrorists.
