Fighters of Boko Haram/Islamic State for West African Province (ISWAP) have been killed by troops of the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Cameroon.

Naija News gathered that the terrorists were neutralised in the Amchide town of Banki in the Bama Local Government Area.

The terrorists invaded the Nigeria/Cameroon border on Tuesday on five gun trucks and motorcycles to dislodge troops’ formation and cause havoc in the community.

Security expert, Zagazola Makama, disclosed that the Cameroonian troops stationed at the community repelled the terrorists and killed many of them.

A further report had it that the terrorists saw their gun truck destroyed, while troops recovered one additional Hilux truck mounted with an Anti-Air Craft Gun.

This is coming days after fighters of the Islamic terrorist group led by late Abubakar Shekau (Boko Haram) clashed with men of the ISWAP.

The rivalry clash between the terrorist group in Abadam local government area of Borno State led to the death of nine insurgents.
