Nollywood actor, Ugeze Ugeze has said that the terminally distorted nature of the country is the reason Nigerians who are trapped in Ukraine due to the Russia- Ukraine crisis have refused to return to the country.

Naija News earlier reported that the minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama  during a meeting on Monday with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, in Abuja revealed that Nigerians trapped in the Russia -Ukriane crisis have refused to come back home.

He said: “We hope to start evacuation hopefully Wednesday, although some do not want to come back. We are doing everything possible to ensure that come Wednesday, we will dispatch planes for evaluation.”

Reacting to the development, the Nollywood actor via his Instagram handle said that it should be a concern for the government that its citizens are refusing the help rendered to them in crisis.

He further opined the reason for their action, revealing that no one would want to come back to a country where the public officers loots with impunity.

“It is now news some of the Nigerians stranded in Ukraine are not ready to come back. This should be of serious concern to the government. Who wants to come back to a country public officers have been looting with impunity since 1960, a country where those punished are those who lost bearing in the looting circle? Nigeria, Terminally destoryed.”
