Reactions As APC Zones National Chairmanship To North

The decision of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to zone its national chairmanship to the Northern region has stirred reactions online.

Naija News earlier reported the decision to zone the 2023 presidency to the South and the National Chairmanship to the North was taken during a meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and APC governors.

Governor Nasir El-rufai of Kaduna State made this known on Tuesday in an interview with State House correspondents after the meeting with the President.

The Kaduna governor stated President Buhari and the governor agreed on the zoning formula for all the six geopolitical zones ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Following the development, some Nigerians have taken to social media to express their views regarding the zoning formula adopted by the ruling party.
