Hisbah: Two ‘Repentant’ Commercial S3x Workers Wed In Bauchi

One Aliyu Usman and Sadiya Ibrahim have been joined as husband and wife by the Hisbah department of the Bauchi State Shariah Commission in Bauchi.

Naija News understands that the two repentant commercial s3x workers were made a couple on Monday by the Shariah police.

The newly wedded couple are said to have undergone a series of medical tests to confirm their compatibility before they were joined as husband and wife.

The solemnization was reportedly held in a brothel at the Bayangari area of the Bauchi metropolis.

Naija News understands that the wedding was conducted during the flag-off of the empowerment training of 575 commercial s3x workers by the State government, through the Hisbah department.

The event received the presence of dignitaries, including the Deputy Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Honourable Danlami Kawule; Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Umar Kesa.

Top State government officials and officials of the Shariah Commission and many other commercial s3x workers were also in attendance at the event.

In his remark after listening to the representative of the groom, Kesa approved the couple hitherto involved in commercial s3x activities, while Kawule paid the N50,000 dowry on behalf of the groom, Aliyu Usman.

Chairman, Shariah Commission, Sheikh Mustapha Baban-Illela who joined the couple said the two were not forced on each other but had come to terms.

Baban-Illela stressed that the parents of the bride were fully involved and aware of the joining.

Thanking everyone, the groom, Usman, expressed appreciation to the State government, the Deputy Speaker, as well as the Shariah Commission and all those present at the event for their efforts and support towards making their dream of getting married a reality.

He declared that both of them had repented of the old way of life, vowing that, “by the grace of Allah, from today, we have repented from what we were doing before and we will change for good.”
