Popular Singer, Buju Changes Stage Name To BNXN

Popular Nigerian singer, Daniel Benson, professionally known as Buju, has announced the change of his stage name from Buju to BNXN.

Buju on Thursday revealed the reason behind his decision to change his stage name which has become a household name over the years.

The singer who hails from Akwa-Ibom caught the attention of Nigerians after his Lenu remix with Burna Boy.

Buju had to take the hard decision after it was discovered that he shares the same name with American singer, Buju Banton, who has trademarked the name.

Changing his stage name to BNXN would save him from any lawsuit.

The singer’s new release and project would carry the name BNXN following his announcement on his Twitter account.
