‘Davido For Governor’ – Uche Maduagwu Praises Singer Over ₦250m Charity Fund (Video)
Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has called on award-winning musician, Davido to forgive him over his utterances in respect to the funds he disbursed to orphanages across the country.
Maduagwu a few months ago had mocked Davido for asking his friends to send him one million Naira each.
Davido having gathered two hundred million from his fans and friends added fifty million Naira to the donation promising to disburse it to orphanages across the country.
The DMW boss in respect to his promise a few days ago disbursed ₦250m to 292 orphanages across the country.
Maduagwu who had questioned the accountability of the singer over the funds he raised during his birthday asked for his forgiveness in a video.
The actor in the video said Davido has led by example by sharing the donation to 292 charities in 27 states.
He said, “Davido for Governor, wow you be Baba, 250 million naira Disbursement to 292 charities for 27 states Na symbol of LEADERSHIP and great LOVE for the masses, while some KuliKuli celeb dey waste 8 million Naira on FOOD when dem family for village dey drink garri, David is leading by example, abeg forgive me and my universal red bra, we do am to ensure that you fulfil your promise, my village elders say make we dey call you IGWE TALK and DO.”
