Prof. Tunde Samuel, Ally And Political Strategist Of Tinubu Is Dead

The death has occurred of Prof Tunde Samuel, a strong political ally and strategist of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

Prof. Samuel died on Wednesday, 16th February 2022 just about three months after he celebrated his birthday.

The late administrator who was until his death, a member of the Governor Advisory Council (GAC) in Lagos State is credited for his major role in the developmental blueprint put in place during the administration of Tinubu in the state.

During his lifetime, he also held many positions including serving as a Special Adviser on Education during the administration of Tinubu.

Professor Samuel was the pioneer Provost of the Lagos State College of Primary Education (LASCOPED) which has just been upgraded to the Lagos State University of Education.

In a related news, the Chief Imam of Kafanchan, in Kaduna State, Sheikh Adam Tahir has died at the age of one hundred and thirty (130).

Naija News understands the cleric died on Wednesday evening after being ill for some time.

Confirming Tahir’s death, the Deputy Chief Imam of Kafanchan, Alhaji Muhammad Kassim said the late Chief Imam is a role model to many and will be greatly missed.

Reacting to the death of the Sheikh, the Emir of Jema’a, Alhaji Muhammad Isa Muhammad II, in a condolence message, described the death of the Imam as a huge loss to the emirate and to the people of southern parts of Kaduna State.

He prayed to God for the repose of the deceased’s soul.

Sheikh Tahir is survived by 26 children, 290 grandchildren and more than 200 great-grandchildren.
