P-Sqauare's Peter Okoye Reacts To Attack On Buhari In Kano

One of the singers of the Psquare music group, Peter Okoye has reacted to the fuel scarcity and long queues in fueling stations following the sale of adulterated fuel.

Naija News reports that due to looming fuel scarcity,  there has been an endless line of cars as customers queue to get petrol, with a lot of filling stations shut down across the country.

Reacting to the development, Peter Okoye in a post shared on Instagram, noted that anyone dating a fuel attendant in this period of scarcity has made the right decision in life.

In his words: “If you are dating a fuel attendant this period, your level is high. You made the right decision in life.”

Meanwhile, petroleum marketers have asked the Federa Government to bear their losses, while accusing the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Limited of a deliberate delay in evacuating adulterated petroleum from fuel stations.

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) told The Guardian that, due to the delay, there is a deliberate attempt for fueling stations dispensing petrol products to frustrate consumers by creating artificial scarcity through long queues, thereby pushing marketers to run at a loss.

Vice President of IPMAN, Abubakar Shettima added that the delay by consultants who are working to determine the volume of the dirty fuels still in tanks have also pushed most tankers to now divert to Nipco depot to load the right speculation of premium products, adding that the current scarcity would abate before mid-week.
