Man Attempts Suicide After Long-time Lover Dumps Him

A Kano man, named Tijjani Abubakar has reportedly attempted suicide after his longtime girlfriend broke up with him in Kano state.

Daily Trust reports that Tijjani, a trader who sells mobile phones at Farm centre tried to take his life by trying a poisonous substance after his lover, he was planning to settle down with rejected his proposal on Valentine’s day.

Tijani is said to have been grooming the young girl for himself before she decided to call off their relationship.

Devastated by the action, the young man who hails from Nasarawa local government area in the state tried to take his life.

Thankfully, his friends and neighbors rallied around to rescue him from committing suicide.

In other news, an unidentified man has broken down in tears after his wife gifted him a bag of flour and sugar for his birthday.

According to his wife, Ginika who posted the video on Instagram, her husband who is a small chops vendor often complained about the increase in price of flour and sugar.

Surprising her husband, Ginika placed the gifts in the booth of her husband’s car. When the birthday celebrant saw the gift he was shocked and obviously pleased as he later broke down in tears.
