Court Picks Date To Deliver Judgement On Nnamdi Kanu's Suit Against DSS

The terrorism, treason, incitement, running an outlawed group, amongst others trial of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the infamous leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) will resume today.

Naija News reports that the pro-Biafra activist is facing those charges brought by the Federal Government of Nigeria Before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court,  Abuja.

Justice Nyako had asked the Department of State Services (DSS) to allow Kanu change his cloth.

The trial judge had also warned the secret police against taking over the court premises during trial.

Recall that during the last court sitting, Nnamdi Kanu had pleaded “not guilty” to charges levelled against him.

Justice Binta Nyako has adjourned Nnamdi Kanu’s case again till the 8th of April 2022.

Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer Mike Ozekhome on Wednesday condemned the DSS refusal to allow his client change his clothes.
