Nigerian Man Beaten To Coma By South African Thugs Dies [Photos]

A Nigerian identified as Nicolas John, who was beaten to coma by South African hoodlums over a stolen laptop, has died.

Naija News gathered that Nicolas, who has been in coma since the incident, died on Monday.

Recall that Naija News had exclusively reported that hoodlums had attacked Nicolas and his friend for allegedly buying a stolen laptop from another South African.

Nicholas later died from injuries sustained from the beating, while the South African criminal who originally stole and sold the laptop to Nicholas was left unharmed.

Nicholas who battled for his life in the Intensive Care Unit at Kimberly Hospital, was said to have had his brain shifted due to the beating, with water finding its way to the brain.

Although the water was drained, the Nigerian who had been in the country for years did not survive.

Nicholas was alleged to have bought a stolen laptop from another South African. The owner of the laptop apprehended the South African who stole the laptop and he took him to the Nigerian who bought it.

The hoodlums asked him to call the Nigerian he sold it to and he did, but when he arrived, Nicholas told them that he didn’t have the laptop anymore but agreed to pay them for it.

The owner of the laptop agreed but the owner came with a group which wanted to rob him of his phones and he refused, which resulted in them beating him to coma.
